Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 13, 2026

Ridgeline Collective ("we", "us", or "our") is a British Columbia–based life insurance and investment lead-generation service. We help Canadians compare products and connect with licensed advisors and carriers. This policy explains, in plain language, what personal information we collect through our quote form, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have.

Information we collect

When you request a quote, we ask you to provide:

  • Your name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address
  • Your date of birth
  • Your smoking status
  • The product you're interested in (for example, life insurance or investments)
  • Your consent preferences — whether you agree to be contacted, and whether you opt in to marketing updates

Your date of birth and smoking / health status are sensitive information. We collect them only to generate accurate insurance quotes, since age and tobacco use directly affect pricing and eligibility. We do not use this information for any other purpose.

Why we collect it

We use the information you provide to:

  • Prepare and provide insurance and investment quotes;
  • Connect you with licensed advisors and insurance carriers who can fulfill your request; and
  • Send you occasional marketing updates and offers — but only if you specifically opted in to receive them.

How we share your information

To fulfill your quote request, we may share your information with the licensed insurance carriers and advisors needed to prepare quotes and follow up with you. We only share what is reasonably necessary for that purpose.

We do not sell your personal information to unrelated third parties.

How long we keep your information

We retain your personal information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet applicable legal, regulatory, and record-keeping obligations. When it is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to securely delete or anonymize it.

Legal framework

This policy is intended to align with British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Marketing messages are sent only to people who have given consent, and every such message includes a way to unsubscribe.

Your rights and choices

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you;
  • Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal obligations; and
  • Withdraw your consent or unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. Every marketing email also includes an unsubscribe link.
